Hot expanded seamless pipe

2014-09-26

Hot expanded seamless pipes, commonly referred to as hot expanded pipes, are steel pipes with relatively low density but strong shrinkage. (Seamless steel pipes) can all be abbreviated as hot expanded pipes. They are produced using the oblique rolling method or drawing method.
to expand the diameter of pipe materials.
This is a type of rough pipe precision rolling process.
In a short period, the steel pipe can be thickened, allowing for the production of non-standard and special models of seamless pipes at low cost and high production efficiency. This is currently the development trend in the international pipe rolling field.

Current production standards for hot expanded seamless pipes in our country:
Hot expanded seamless steel pipes: GB3087-1999
Hot expanded welded steel pipes (seamless steel pipes): GB/T3091-2000.
