At 3:30 AM on July 28, 2016, the water pipe of the water heater in the general manager's office burst, causing a rapid outflow of water and an urgent situation. Within just a few minutes, the water gushing from the burst pipe flooded the office floor and even rushed directly into the corridor on the third floor.
Company security personnel Wang Mingguo discovered the emergency during his patrol and immediately notified security team leader Li Gang. Faced with this sudden danger, Li Gang quickly organized staff members to participate in the rescue operation. Liu Zhonghan, Yuan Zhixin, Huang Yaowei, and Hong Junchen actively participated. They first shut off the water supply line for the entire building to control the outflow point and then quickly rescued the flooded areas by cleaning up the water on the ground with brooms and mops. All participants worked tirelessly and focused intently; after two hours of hard work, they managed to control the emergency in the office and cleared away all the water.
During this rescue operation, six comrades including Li Gang, Wang Mingguo, Liu Zhonghan, Yuan Zhixin, Huang Yaowei, and Hong Junchen performed outstandingly. They put aside personal interests and selflessly dedicated themselves to fully protect company property, treating company matters as their own responsibilities. They saved significant losses for the company and ensured a normal working environment and order for employees. This truly reflects Tengfei people's noble quality of regarding factory as home and prioritizing company interests above all else. We should learn from them and pay our respects!
