On September 5th at 16:30, a cable failure at the Stress Company caused a power outage in our company. By 21:00 that evening, the substation team leader Yu Liming and security captain Li Gang discovered during their inspection of the pump room that there was serious water accumulation in the basement due to the power outage, with water already overflowing the pump motor base. If the pump room motor were to be submerged, it would result in significant losses for the company; the situation was extremely urgent and serious. Security captain Li Gang promptly and decisively called the general manager to report on-site conditions. After receiving instructions from the general manager, Li Gang, Yu Liming, Huang Yaohong, and Huang Yaowei immediately organized staff on duty to participate in emergency rescue work. Substation team leader Yu Liming led employees according to their assignments to quickly and effectively carry out rescue operations. The rescue personnel also included Yuan Zhixin and Huang Xianli; later on, employees from the factory who rushed over included Deng Yong, Xu Shoucheng, Su Kehua, Gu Qinglong, and Liu Zhonghan. They actively joined the rescue team. After more than an hour of diligent effort and cooperation, they finally cleared all the water from the pump room and saved the pump motor from disaster.
