Galvanized Pipe Product Applications

2013-09-06

Galvanized pipes are divided into cold galvanized pipes (prohibited) and hot galvanized pipes.

Hot galvanized steel pipes are widely used in manufacturing industries such as construction, machinery, coal mining, chemical engineering, railway vehicles, automotive industry, highways, bridges, containers, sports facilities, agricultural machinery, petroleum machinery, and exploration machinery.

Welded steel pipes with a hot-dip or electro-galvanized layer on the surface. Galvanization can increase the corrosion resistance of steel pipes and extend their service life. Galvanized pipes have a wide range of uses; in addition to being used as pipelines for general low-pressure fluids such as water, gas, and oil, they are also used as oil well pipes and oil transportation pipes in the petroleum industry, especially in offshore oil fields. They are also used for oil heaters, condensers and cooling devices in chemical coking equipment, as well as for pipe piles in trestles and support frames in mining tunnels.
