Legal Knowledge Competition on the Protection of Women's Rights and Interests for Female Employees in the Tiexi Qigong Area

In order to comprehensively promote the learning and popularization of legal knowledge regarding the protection of women's rights and interests, further enhance women's awareness and ability to learn, know, and abide by the law, and legally safeguard their legitimate rights and interests, as well as better play the role of women in society. On the occasion of International Women's Day, a knowledge competition on women's rights protection laws was held in the Qigong area. Yao Fang, Wu Xia, and Ding Lingling from Shenyang Tengfei Company participated in this competition.
The knowledge competition was held on March 6, 2015, on the 5th floor of the Qigong Trade Union. The event consisted of two formats: mandatory answering and buzzer answering. Each unit formed a team of three to compete. After a written test, six units were selected to enter the finals. The competition covered relevant content including the Marriage Law, Inheritance Law, Women's Rights Protection Law, Special Regulations on Labor Protection for Female Employees, and Work Regulations for Women’s Committees in Trade Unions. It also involved provisions related to women's rights protection in laws such as Labor Contract Law, Trade Union Law, Employment Promotion Law, Social Insurance Law, Labor Dispute Mediation and Arbitration Law, Work Injury Insurance Regulations, Labor Security Supervision Regulations, and Implementation Regulations of Labor Contract Law.
Before the competition, we made sufficient preparations by studying relevant content diligently during our spare time. During the competition, we faced five strong opponents; although we were a bit worried, we did not show weakness. After dozens of rounds of intense competition, we ultimately ranked second with a total score of 150 points. We were very happy not only because we achieved good results and learned knowledge but also because we brought glory to Tengfei Company.
